Your profile is who you are across all of Capr; your team identity is who you are inside each league. Both take about two minutes to set up, and both are worth doing early — your username in particular is first come, first served.
Claim your username
Your username (or handle) is your unique name across the platform. It's how leaguemates find you, how trades and messages attribute to you, and it forms the address of your public profile. Claim it once and it's yours everywhere.
Your display name is separate and more relaxed — it's the friendly name shown next to your posts and moves, and you can change it whenever you like without affecting your handle.
Name your team
Each league gets its own team name and avatar, managed under My Team in that league's settings. Upload an avatar image to replace the default — it shows up on matchups, standings, trades, and the draft board, so it's the single biggest visual upgrade you can make.
Your public profile
Every user gets a public profile page at /@username — your career record, championships, and history in one shareable link. It's how your dynasty resume follows you from league to league.
